Data Privacy Day (DPD) is an annual effort promoting data privacy awareness and education.

In 2022, CSN is excited to launch the DPD campaign encouraging everyone to join the fight and take the challenge to become #SecureTogether.

Take the Challenge

CSN aims to promote education and inspire action to make everyone more secure online. DPD takes place on January 28 but we are extending this effort through the month of February to encourage learning and adoption of best practices as we become #SecureTogether. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to join the fight by registering a team here.

What Is It?

Through our #SecureTogether challenge, participants will:

Implement

multi-factor authentication

Strengthen

their privacy and security settings

Activate

automatic updates on devices & browsers

Identify

elements of
phishing scams

By registering a team, you will rally your friends, family and coworkers to take action in becoming more secure online. Each team will rack up points for each action completed and the top teams will rise to the top of the leaderboard. This is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to data privacy and spread the word to the broader community.

Get more information about the program. Help your friends, family and colleagues stay safe online!

Individuals

Register yourself or a team to take the #SecureTogether challenge, complete the steps and share the news on social media. After you register, you will gain access to social media graphics and a profile frame to show your commitment to being an advocate for data privacy.

Businesses

Register your business as a DPD advocate and get access to resources you can share on your website and social media accounts. You can even rally your employees to participate on a team to complete the #SecureTogether challenge and rise to the top of the leaderboard.
